New Year – Greetings, resolutions etc.

Happy 2008 people. May this year be joyous and prosperous for all. May there be an end to the bloodshed and the misery. May the starving get food and the homeless, a home. Yeah right. And the Sun shall rise from the West, fart loudly then disappear again…

I really don’t get the point of this New Year bullshit. Nothing is going to change just because it’s 2008 instead of 2007. And it’s optimism bordering on idiocy to think otherwise.

I’m a fashionable guy though. And in keeping with the fashion, I have made three, yes not one, three New Year’s Resolutions -

1. Exercise regularly – I’m starting to develop visible deposits of fat in my body. That must change! I must remain stud!
2. Write regularly – I have decided to devote atleast an hour to my writing. It is my hope that it will help me improve as a writer.
3. Update blog regularly – Self explanatory.

If you pay attention, you will notice that all three concern regularity. Indeed, I have a serious problem regarding regularity about anything. Even things I enjoy doing. Anyhoo, beddy-bye time. Howdy ho nerderinos!
